Where Art and Emotion Meet

About the Artist:

Alyssa was drawn to markers and crayons as soon as she could hold them and has used art as a means for self discovery, peace of mind, and self expression ever since.

Over the past so many years she has worked with a variety of mediums, including painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, industrial sized murals, and collage. Her works topics have varied from sexuality, women’s health, emotional expression, feminism, spiritually, nature, and mythology.

In 2013 she graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she Majored in Painting and received my Bachelors in Fine Art.

Today, she is living in Woodstock, VT where she creates from her studio and sells work online and at local venues, such as Mon Vert Café.

Artist Statement:

In her most current paintings layers of acrylic, multi-media, and resin on canvas have been applied to give a sensation of fluidity and form. This body of work helps to bring its audiences emotions to the forefront through personification of emotion, renaissance likeness, and photographic references.
